Badger Cull - Yes or no?

For the first time in the UK, a badger cull – the killing of many badgers – is to go ahead. It’s to stop a disease called Bovine Tuberculosis (TB) spreading from badgers to cows. Thousands of badgers could be killed in the next few weeks – but many people are protesting.

  

Campaigners – including the animal charity RSPCA – say that it would be much better to give the badgers medicine to stop the TB disease from spreading. But this would cost money – and the government argues that it is better to spend the money on schools, hospitals and services for people, not on the badgers.

Many farmers have a different opinion. They argue the controversial cull is necessary, because without it their cows would die from the disease. Cows are essential for farmers’ livelihoods, and for the many millions of Brits who eat beef and drink milk.

It's a new day. It's Friday! Finally! I have a truckload of homework, I'm going to have to work really hard to finish it all. I signed up for my school's play this year, can't wait for the auditions. Tired...

Okay, I promised I would write something small everyday and I will keep my promise. Hmmm. I'm not so sure what to talk about....Okay, how about this. You all know how very obsessive I am, and right now I am hooked on the series Once Upon a time. I am currently going to start season 1 episode 9. It's so INCREDIBLE! I love it! At first I watched it because one of my great friends kept bugging me about it and kept fan girling. And this girl is not an obsessive person. At all. And for her to walk into school in the morning bursting with energy, jumping up and down going on and on about how awesome season 2 episode 2 is gonna be and blah blah blah. 

It's been hours since I wrote the above paragraph. Mum made me go do my homework so I had to stop. It is now 10.30 pm and I am exhausted. I haven't worked so hard in ages. My brain still needs to get used to absorbing so much information everyday.  Sorry I didn't write so much. It's waaay too late for creativity. I justwant to have a hot bath and go to bed. Hopefully a refueling, dreamless sleep. Good night, xoxo

Hellooo/ Welcome

Hey good people of the internet! First of all I am so so soooooo sorry for not posting at all in the past month. I had typed up a few posts on my tablet but I never uploaded them. Hopefully I will have them uploaded by the end of the day.


In this post I would be honoured to introduce a new admin, Smiley :) She is a great friend of Gulie98 and I. She always makes us laugh, for more reason than one, she is always there when we need her. Her writing and rhyming skills are beyond this dimension. I'm sure that she'll be a great addition to this blog. So, WELCOME Smiley :D :D :D


Whilst browsing the stats I've noticed that the views have still been climbing, even though we weren't posting. I would like to thank all those who stuck with us from the very bottom of my heart. I promise you that I will  try my very best to post something, no matter how short, everyday from now on.

Now I would like to talk about something that probably everyone hates and loves, school. Yup, September has come and most of us are in our second week of school. I am personally glad to be back with my friends but I fear this year because I know it will be a lot more loaded than last year. And last year was no walk in the park. 

September coming means various things, first of all school. Second of all, October has started which means The Vampire Diaries comes out on the 12th, 10 more days!!! Glee came out 3 weeks ago and Once Upon a Time came out yesterday. The are many more things I'm looking forward to, but regular readers know how obsessive I am and to name all of my interests would take all week. Gulie98 and Smiley can vouch for that.

Today I did something that was long overdue. I filed my nails. Now I know this might seem like no big deal, but my nails are like my lifeline. I have no strength whatsoever and so I depend on them as weapons. Once I gave Gulie98 a scar so deep that it only just cured. Long nails also symbolize success to me because biting my nails was a really bad habit of mine. But the fact that i managed to stop ills me up with modest pride. Cutting them off would be taking away my victory. But it's ok because I realised that by cutting them short-ish I can watch my nails grow long again, it's like a double victory. Then I buffed them with this special buffer and I massaged them with cuticle oil. afterwords I treated myself to some exotic body lotion. Might I add I did all this while I was "doing my homework".
Ahhh. It feels nice to blog again. I forgot how relaxing it is. It's good to be relaxed. See you soon, I promise.

Can't sleep...

It's 3:15 am and I just can't sleep. My cousin is listening to really loud music through her headphones an my sister is arguing with her to keep it down. Waaah. I need sleep...

When I feel frustrated

I get frustrated when I have many things to do and the people around me keep bugging me about them. I need to do things at my own pace. When people keep urging me to do things, I adds stress and frustration. These two factors do not help me concentrate and end up making me procrastinate.
When I do actually get stressed and frustrated, I nee to find my ways to relieve them. Yoga, music and camomile with honey (in winter) or cold fruit (in summer) are my remedies.


The whole system of Yoga is built on three main structures: exercise, breathing, and meditation. The exercises of Yoga are designed to put pressure on the glandular systems of the body, thereby increasing its efficiency and total health. The body is looked upon as the primary instrument that enables us to work and evolve in the world, and so a Yoga student treats it with great care and respect. Breathing techniques are based on the concept that breath is the source of life in the body. The Yoga student gently increases breath control to improve the health and function of both body and mind. These two systems of exercise and breathing then prepare the body and mind for meditation, and the student finds an easy approach to a quiet mind that allows silence and healing from everyday stress. Regular daily practice of all three parts of this structure of Yoga produce a clear, bright mind and a strong, capable body.

Music is my way of expressing myself, besides listening to music, I play my guitar. I also release my anger on it by playing a piece with a complicated strumming pattern. When it comes to listening to music, any genre will do as long as I have headphones and the volume is full on.

I like drinking Camomile cause of it's cleansing smell and the sweet taste of the honey dissolved in it. The cold fruit is refreshing and sweet cause of the summer fruit.

I have the phone bug

Back when I was still a small kid, the phone was only used by my parents. It never really did interest me much as I had no one to call....
But now it does. I call my best friend (yes, CC) practically every single day. We talk for hours about everything, from the most pressing teenage crisis to the craziest things ever. Sometimes, well, most of the times, really; we just goof off. Once we even discussed or favourite songs from when we were little, which mostly were songs from the Disney Princess movies. And even after we don't have anything interesting to say, we just stay surfing the Internet on our respective cell phones or computers, or watching T.V. as long as we are enjoying each other's company, we're glad.
It's not the first time one of us calls cause we have a problem in homework (mostly Physics, heh) and end up talking about something else... Until we hear our mothers screaming for us to get off the phone. ;)
The phone is my lifesaver when my parents take away my cell or IPod and is the only way I can contact my friends fast. Thankfully, our phone fees are payed with a Ready-payed contract... So the phone bill does not have a never ending price. Hehehe

Lesson learnt

Ok. So I was at my guitar lesson last Thursday with my phone in my front-jean-shorts-pocket. My tutor was watching me practice my exam piece when my phone started ringing. At first I didn't hear it cause it was low, but then it got really loud: "From Rio to Jamaica, we are the party shakers, so welcome everybody, let's party, tonight! We'll sip until we're wasted, they call us trouble makers, but we just wanna party, just party, all night!" (Party Shakers - Rio)
I couldn't get it out of my pocket since my guitar was on my lap, so I had to get up and jiggle it out while it's still SCREAMING. This also happened at my St. John's Ambulance Cadets' session the day after, though my phone was in my saddle bag which I could not open. I must add that in both situations, people did laugh and I got totally embarrassed.
So, whatever you do, do not, I repeat; DO NOT, go to a class with your phone on Loud.

Can't remember dreams

So, it's about 11.06pm here and I can't sleep, so instead of staring at the ceiling, I'm going to be useful and blog.I'm going to talk about dreams. I think that there will be a couple more dream related posts after this one.
Last night I know that I had a truly amazing dream, but I can't remember it! I hate it when that happens! You might be thinking "if she can't remember it how does she know it was a nice dream?". well, I know it was nice because I remember a single phrase which gives it all away; 'soft pecks of kisses'. As soon as I remembered that I fought my memories to remember more. A few images popped in my head. A stunningly beautiful field of green. Soft green grass and delicate waterdroplets on newly grown leaves everywhere you look. This place comes up often in my dreams. Then I try to remember who the boy was. I got an image of the pizza place in my village, I was in a car, about to be driven away and there was a very good-looking boy outside waving and smiling at me. I know him! He goes to the same local group I do. He's  year younger and he's taken. he has a really pretty girlfriend. I guess my mind conjured him up to stop me from dreaming about someone else.

I'm pretty sure that there's a lit more to the dream than that but that's about as much as I remember. I know that there where many dates in the dream, judging by the guy's character. and I know that he's the perfect dream-kisser. this is torture! I had the loveliest dream in the world and I can't remember it! I can slightly remember my stomach doing backflips when his lips touched mine. He had feather-soft lips and dazzling honey eyes. He was tall and had striking features. Soft, strong hands and a caring nature. I wish I could tell you more but I can't remember anything else. If I do remember anything else I'll post it at the end of this post in an update.

Too funny not to share

I've found a video that will surely make you split your sides with laughter!!! Gather 'round all your friends and see who can hold in the laughter. A friend showed it to me the other day and I though "I should definately blog this!" This clip is apparently from A British reality T.V show where a contestant has to pick one from three dates. The third date (the one featured in the clip, heh) is a Maltese woman who emigrated to Britain. I must say, she portrays a misguided image of what Maltese people really are. I don't have much to say to that cause the clip says it all... like one of those 'No Comment' sesions on CNN News.

I know, I know, I havent posted in a loooong while. I am so sorry. I've been going through a massive writer's block since my exams. Seems like my brain has come to a halt. I've finally gotten a few ideas and ! am ready to hit the blog. Have a great summer guys!

Written out of boredom.

I love summer-who doesn't! But there's a particular problem that seems to grow bigger and bigger each year-boredom. In fact, I am writing this post out of boredom today because I have absolutely nothing better to do. Well, I should do my project, but I don't feel like Biology right now. Just to let you know, I have no inspiration whatsoever right now so I apologise in advance for the crappy post this is going to be. I'm probably just going to complain, tell you about my environmental studies homework and then suddenly think of something to say. That happens quite often. But hey! A post is a post, even if it doesn't have a specific point. I created this blog so I could be able to share what I'm feeling with the rest of the world, and right now, I'm feeling bored. So it's perfectly OK if I rant. See?! I've already written a whole paragraph!

Okay, so our school has restricted the amount of students who are able to study the full syllabus of Environmental Studies for the O-levels. The students who took two languages i Form 1 (seventh grade)  aren't allowed to study Env.Studs at school. Those who took one language are able to choose between the full syllabus of Env.Studs and musical theatre. So, this means that I couldn't take it. Our Env.Studs teacher decided to give private lessons in Summer for those who still wanted the subject. In summer, we would cover what we hadn't done in school. There have been three lessons so far, and we've finished a topic and started a new one. For the first topic, she gave us a worksheet of around thirteen questions and an essay. For this new topic, we have another eight questions and some sort of activity which will probably require a write-up. How fun. (Note the sarcasm). I like the subject, a lot actually, but I don't like the homework in summer. I'm too lazy to do it. But I sort of have to so...

Wind direction

Don't get me wrong, I truly like Env.Studs, it's extremely interesting but I've never liked homework.
I really like the weather and climate topic we're doing now, I especially like the different cloud types formed by different types of rainfall which are formed by different cycles, according to the zone you're in and the kind of pressure, temperate, and how far from the equator you are. Okay, I'm going to stop rambling before I get you even more bored.
I'm re-reading what I've written so far and I'm surprised by the amount of spelling mistakes are found. Even after spell-checking. Lately I've been posting through an app on my tablet and it's keyboard's 'o' needs to be pressed harder to work. so I'm re-reading and i notice that all the words have missing 'o's. So I have to go through all of this text to add the necessary 'o's. I wrote the teen Wolf post yesterday at around ten p.m, in the dark, my eyes itching with need of sleep, with a faulty 'o'. So you can imagine the number of times I had to go through the post. And those of you who have read it know that it's not an easy task, you know, because of its length. Oh well, I tend to write a lot. I have a huge problem in English because I never keep to the word limit. I try but it's way too hard for me. Sigh.

Well, this post turned out less boring than I thought it would :D. It's still pointless but at least it's long so you guys have something to read until I get my inspiration back. Know I just read through this a few times to make sure all of the 'o's are there and to correct any other mistakes. Talk to you guys later :P

Teen Wolf

Hello-o! Okay, so, I've mentioned before that I'm a huge fan of the supernatural, whether it's werewolves,vampires,witches -I'm into that sort of thing. So anyway, today I was browsing the web, looking for something interesting to watch when I remembered that I hadn't watched Teen Wolf in two whole weeks! So I spent 80 minutes watching two episodes. I spent every single second covering my mouth, hugging my knees mumbling 'Don't scream don't scream don't scre-AAAAAGGGHHHHH!!!', or 'who is it? What does she have to do with it? This is driving me MAD!!' And at the end, I slumped on the bed, face down on my pillow, heart beating (Very quickly), mind blown and I said 'I did not see that coming'. Teen Wolf -like most other teen dramas- has you believing in one thing, expecting,, preparing for someone-or something- do make a specific decision or action, and then BOOM! It does the complete opposite. You just don't expect it and then in hits you in the face. Worst of all, every episode is a cliff-hanger. An episode comes out every Monday (on the CW I think) but I watch them on Tuesday because that's when they're released online. The lame island I live on doesn't get the nice channels. 

Here's a quick summary of the show. Teen Wolf is about a sixteen/seventeen year old boy who is turned into a wolf by the Alpha. He is the second beta. Derek is the first beta. The boy, Scott, never wanted the bite and in the first season struggles to control his magnifyed emotions. He tries not to 'turn' on everyone who bugs him. Thanks to his other-worldy abilities and super strength, he becmes captain of the LaCross team, making Jackson the Co-Captain. Jackson doesn't like being second best and starts to investigate Scott's identity. His best friend, Stiles, helps him as much as a human possibly can. Scott works part time at the vet's. A very important element in this show is love. Specifically Scott's- Allison. The girl who he's had a crush on for ages and who's family is later discovered to be secret hunters of all things supernatural. They live by a code, they don't kill the 'beast' until they have proof that it has harmed the innocent. 

As things start to heat up between Scott and Allison, Scott finds that the more intense things get, the harder he finds hiding his true identity from her. During their school year, Scott and Stiles see it their responsibility to protect everyone, especially the people close to them, from the Alpha, who was out hunting to build a pack. Scott's identity is suspected by Allison's parents. They force him to change into the werewolf, in front of Allison. A friend of Allison -and Stiles decade long crush- was bitten by the Alpha, but she was neither turned nor killed, she was immune. In the end, Derek kills the Alpha and becomes the Alpha and Allison and Scott make up.


That's the end of season 1, now on to season 2, or at least what's released of it so far. Since Allison's aunt is killed by Alpha in the first season (she deserved it, she broke the code and killed hundreds of innocent), her father moves into town supposedly for her funeral but he wants revenge and is willing to ignore the code completely to get it. As he is the leader of the hunters, he easily gets the rest of the family on board, not even Chris, Allison's father, manages to stop him. Scott and Allison and forced to break up due to Scott's nature but meet in secret every day. In this season Scott, his friends and Derek's pack are faced with a new threat. One that had never been seen before, one talked about only in legends, the Kanima. It's covered in poison that perilisases one at the touch. It is deadly. It kills people, suppsedly only murderers. It is also unable to act on its own. It needs a master. 

Throughout the season there are two big questions. What is Jackson and what's happening to Lydia? I am able to answer one of them but I'm not going to spoil the surprise. Somewhere in the series Allison is forced to tell her father everything. Three sides are formed. The wolves, Stiles and Allison. The second is the Hunters'. Both are seeking one thing. The Kanima. Who's controlling it? Why? Again I am able to answer one question. The wolves and their friends want to capture the kanima, to save the human being inside and to conquer its master. The hunters want to kill the kanima as they believe that it's too dangerous to save.

The love element in this season is a lot more complicated. Allison's grandfather becomes the school principal. Cameras are put up all over the school to spy on Allison and Scott to make sure that the don't date. Everything is really complicated all the time but the kissing doesn't lack. Allison's mother catches them kissing and tries to kill Scott. Derek comes to the rescue, she tries to hold him off but gets bitten in the process. Chris tries to help her die a dignified death before she turns into the thing they are hunting. In this season there is also the rebirth of a very unpleasent man. On the bright side, Stiles' humour increases and he makes you laugh, a lot! Even in the face of danger, he is able to make you laugh with his ironic sarcasm. It's also important to note that there are a bunch of new characters to the show. 

And that is an extremely brief summary of the season and a half that are out so far. Sounds a bit complicated, doesn't it? Well, you don't know the half of it. I strongly recomend watching this show, just don't watch it at night, in the dark, trust me. You would be afraid to sleep alone.

One Direction gets pranked

OMG! As soon as I saw this I just had to blg it! I adore 1D and they look like they fell from heaven in this video. They always look like that but still. This video is so hilarious! I've watched it a bunch of times and I've almost died with laughter ever time. The expression on Harry's face is simply priceless! I have a feeling that his wife is not going to have any problems during labour.
I showed this video to my mum and he ended up coughing because of laughing too much! Then she said, "They're really young". Then she pointed at Harry and asked who he is. Then she said "He's the cutest. He really fell for it! He was actually doing breathing exercises with her!"
My mum is sick of hearing me talk abou One Direction but this video was funny enough for her to tolerate 5 minutes and 15 seconds of pure 1D.

"I'm lonely" continued. problem solved.

Ok, so you guys know that I posted that I was lonely yesterday. That was perfectly true. I had been sad for 3 days. But today things changed. I am no longer feeling lonely. I'm cured from the blues! Hooray!! How did this happen you might ask? Well, I'm going to tell you the short version, it is much less sad. I got indirectly rejected by the guy I set my eye on yesterday at mass. Yes, at mass. How did he do that? Easy. I was on the phone with my bff (who had also seen the guy) and he was talking to her on fb, (she doesn't like him). It turns out he thinks I'm a stalker. [Which I am NOT...sort of]. Then, what did he do?? He asked out my best friend.
It's a good thing I didn't actually know him. Otherwise it would have broken my heart. Lemme tell you, I was disappointed, I mean, rejection doesn't feel good, but, turns out, it was just what I needed to get out of my misery. Sure I cried, but at least now I know to just look at guys, not to develop feelings for them when I don't know them. Especially in my neighborhood where all guys seem to be jerks.    
Okay well, that's the ending of the lonely chapter. I really hope I don't have reason to feel like that again anytime soon.

Iplace/I'm lonely

Hey hey hey!!! I am at kne of Malta's coolest restaurants EVER! It's called Iplace and it's AWESOME! It's super technical. The menus are Ipads and after you order, you can keep playing with the Ipad! There's free WIFI and everything! I'm having a ball! :D i decoded to use my happiness by blogging, so as not to waste the inspiration and creativity. At home I probably won't feel as excited about writing.

I don't know whay's wrong with me lately. I'm always sad and grumpy. Barely anything ispires me. Lately I only find peace in drawing. But i only draw for two hours a week and my teacher is most probably moving to Greece. That means that I'll have to find a new art teacher. :'( i've been going to this art teacher for five years. I don't want her to leave... Life's not fair. This news has made me even more depressed.

I might be sad because I'm lonely. As soon as I stopped crushing on this guy I liked for three years I started feeling lonely. I don't like this feeling. Before I used to have someone to think about, to daydream about and to be in my thoughts as I fall asleep. Lyrics used to have a meaning. And now, nothing. And to make it worse, everywhere I look I see couples holding hands, kissing or just hanging out. To torture me even more, I seem to have a natural talent for spotting cute guys, from a crowd, during mass, in a restaurant- everywhere! Love is in the air, it just doesn't reach me.
Whenever my mum sees me upset and when I tell her that I'm feeling lonely, she explodes and tells me that I don't need a boyfriend at my age-that nobody does. This enrages me. She just doesn't understand, she never has. I can openly talk to her about boys, she doesn't mind, but when the 'boyfriend' word is in the picture, she doesn't want to know.
My whole life I've read beautiful romance-packed poems and novels. Anything I ever watch in the movie/series department is full of love and deep-set emotions. (Example: Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, The Secret Circle etc..). If you've ever watched these, you'd know why they make me feel lonelier. My    heart aches at the thought of those scenes. I can feel my heart beating at a different pace, slightly quicker and more powerfully,. I can feel my blood pumping through my veins, from my chest, to my arms, down my wrist to the tips of my fingers. From my heart, down my stomach, to my legs, my ankles and into my toes and back. Now I feel as though life has a different meaning, as though we all have one true goal. I feel as if I was meant, was created, to love. To spread love to everyone and everything. But to do that, I first need to experience it.

Oh well, that's the end of this blog. I'm really sorry if I brought you down, thanks for letting me vent, see you..

A piece of advice: for teens

Okay, today was quite an emotionally packed day. It had its ups and down as usual. But this time, the downs dug deeper than ever before. So I decided to share with all of you readers what I learnt today, or what I've learnt over the years. This advice and story applies mostly to young readers, especially to girls.


In your life, you have to learn to be confident. At least confident enough to say NO when you know what you're doing isn't right. You have to realise when something is right and when it is wrong. What should be done and what shouldn't be. You are growing up. Your mum isn't always going to be there to tell you what to do. You have to act out of your own mind, you have to make the right decision, even when it's the hard decision.


I'm going to bring up the example which all parents are worried about when their children are going through adolescence;  boys. Or rather, getting pregnant because of one. Now I'm not going to indulge in all of the details but I will mention the dangers.


When you're out with a boy (or girl) and you haven't known each other too long, you have to be careful. The guy/girl might seem perfectly nice and proper but you never know what's going through his (or her) head. Honestly I think girls have to be more careful than guys. I don't really think I have to explain why. If you're too passive and let him do what he wants, you're the one who has to suffer the consequences, not him. If you are experiencing someone taking advantage of you, if you're being sexually abused, tell someone. Tell your parents or your P.S.D or guidance teacher. You can tell your friends, but there is not much they can do. They can only be there for you, maybe give you some advice. If you feel too shy or too embarrassed to talk to someone, find a way to make some courage. You have to use your voice. You deserve to be heard. You don't deserve to suffer, especially not alone, you must find help of some kind.


Then there is the matter of older men - and I mean, really older men. This comes as common sense. If you see that the man is trying to 'make a move' on you, stop him immediately. Put your foot down. Don't let him touch you, don't let him even come near you! But if the situation develops, you have a problem. If you actually fall for him, than you won't be able to stop him. He will act all nice and friendly, then, when he sees the moment fit, he will strike. When you trust him enough, he'll use the advantage and take you up to his room. You might be too blind to see his purpose, but your friends and family would know exactly what's going through his head. This is why it's important to confide in someone. When you do and they tell you that what you're doing is wrong (which it is) BELIEVE THEM. Let them open your eyes. Let them show you that what you're doing is wrong, that letting him do those things to you is wrong. Don't just hear them, LISTEN to them. What they say is for your own good, they're not the ones who mean you harm, he is.
If  the situation is that you do not like what's going on, that you're being forced, than the first thing you have to do is to tell your parents. Not your friends, your parents. Even though your friends might know what to do, their word means nothing against an adult's. Your parents will be able to report him, to bring him to court and to do him justice. By 'going out' with a young girl of less than eighteen years of age he is breaking the law. Use this against him.


Don't be passive and just do what he says like a little puppy. Do something about it. Trust me, I can not say this with any more seriousness, you do not want to bare a child at a young age. It's not fun or pleasant. You'll have to give up so much in your life. Everything will change. There are many books and articles you can read for proof of this. I read this book called 'Dear Nobody' which shows all of the factors of teenage  pregnancy. I wouldn't want to be in that position, for anything in the world.

So here is how I think:
Do what you want. Have as much fun as you please. Go out. Meet friends. Study. Live your life to the fullest. But when it comes down to it, when you have to make the decision, don't be stupid. Be strong. Be brave. Kick him in the ass and make sure you never see him again.

Supernatural

Hi viewers! I know we haven't been posting lately, for a while in fact. I'm so so sorry. It's not that we don't want to post, it's that we don't know what to post. Honestly, right now, the site is run by to people, me and my fellow admin Gulie98. We've posted 21 times so far and 2 posts in the music page and we're fresh out of ideas. At least I am, almost. To not leave you guys with absolutely nothing new to read, I decided to do a post on the show called Supernatural. I'm pretty sure some of you guys have heard of it.

My personal opinion is that it's awesome! It's completely terrifying! And I'm not scared easy. It's full of action, fighting, shooting, saving the innocent, losing the ones you love, learning new things and going through different experiences. The romance and comedy aren't missing either. I find the whole show pretty ironic. I simply love it! I'm sort of laughing right now because of that picture. Thing is, I'm still watching the first season. [All of you Supernatural fans out there don't shoot daggers at me. There's only so many scares and frights I can take without risk of heart failure.] Anyway, I'm laughing because, in the first season they're still really young, looking fresh, minds ready for moulding. They have young faces which aren't too serious-looking. In this picture -which I think is from either the sixth seventh or eighth series, judging by the age- they look so much older, more serious, ready for battle. Somehow Dean (the one with crossed arms, Sam's older brother) still looks like he's about to make a comment about something. Sam still looks more serious and down-to-Earth than his brother. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. What do you think about them?

Dean and Sam season 1. (see what I meant by them being young)

The show is about two brothers who are searching for their missing father, the man who trained them to be warriors against supernatural evil. In the first season, their mother dies in an 'accidental' fire. Or at least, that's what the police say. In that same episode, Jessica - Sam's girlfriend- dies the same, horrible death. It can't possibly be a co-incidence. this death drives Sam over the edge and convinces him to go with his brother on his search for their missing father.  
On the way, they find their Dad's journal. The brothers know that everything their father ever knew about evil supernatural thing was in that book. They also knew that he never travelled without it. Dean finds co-ordinates inside the book. He takes it as a sign. He believes that is father wants them to continue his job. To go after the supernatural, hunt things down, save people, to continue the family tradition. Dean always obeys his father, he is the one person that Dean is afraid to stand up to. He has blind faith in him and would do whatever he ordered him to. Sam on the other hand isn't so willing to go on this quest. he never wanted any of it. He wanted a normal family which is why at sixteen he left for college. He didn't get along well with his father, unlike Dean. This is because he never trusted him as much, never obeyed him like Dean did. He didn't like being trained as a warrior. Throughout the season, their father drops hints about cases he wants solved. Dean immediately does as his father wants him to but Sam is less willing. Half-way to their destination, Sam decides to go his own way. He wants to look for his father in California instead of solving the case. He and Dean make up after their fight. Dean admits that he admires the way that Sam isn't afraid to be himself, to stand up to their father. Dean was never able to do that. Sam tries to call Dean to make sure he's okay before leaving but he gets no answer. He calls for three hours and still no answer. Sam gets worried and steals a car to go to Indiana, where his brother was on their father's requested case. He ends up saving Dean. From then on, they agree to travel together because, in reality, they're all they have left.
That's as much as i can tell you for my personal summary because that's all I've seen. If anyone's curious, my summary ends till the end of season 1 episode 11. I'm a bit afraid to watch the next one.




Supernatural is an American supernatural drama television series with humorous elements created by Eric Kripke, which debuted on September 13, 2005 on The WB, and is now part of The CW's lineup. Starring Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, the series follows the brothers as they hunt demons, ghosts, monsters and other figures of the supernatural. The fifth season began airing on September 10, 2009, and concluded the series' main storyline; however, The CW officially renewed the show for a sixth season on February 16, 2010. On April 26, 2011, the show was renewed for a seventh season for the 2011–2012 season, which began on September 23, 2011. On January 12, 2012, the series won the two awards at the People's Choice Awards, which includes Best Sci/Fi TV Series and Best Drama TV Series.

On May 3, 2012, Supernatural was renewed for an 8th season by the CW with Jeremy Carver replacing Sera Gamble as co-showrunner with Robert Singer.

One Direction

Ok, so I'm a massive One Direction fan, a Directioner. I know all their songs and a lot of facts. I've decide to do an article on them. For those of you who don't know, One Direction is a British boyband. The members are: Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Mallik. They are amazing and really talanted. Here are a few facts about them: Liam is afraid of spoons. Louis really likes carrots. Harry once had a whole conversation with a cat when he was drunk. Niall is afraid of pigeons. Zayn thinks they are paid in chocolate-covered peanuts. Harry has 4 nipples. Louis had a pet plastic pigeon called Kevin. He lost it during travel ;) Liam has one kidney. Louis and Zayn escaped a hotel in Australia. Liam's favourite song is Moments. The band's favourite song is Up All Night. Harry showers twice a day. Louis' favourite animal is the monkey. Niall is claustrophobic.
